Creating a hand drawn image in Photoshop used to be very time-considering and tedious. But with the advancement of software technologies, we are able to create such effects much more easily nowadays.

In today’s tutorial, we are going to use this special Photoshop action called Hand Drawn Photoshop action to achieve our goal. The steps to install all Photoshop actions are the same; you just need to unzip, copy and paste OR load each required .ATN file into the Actions panel in Photoshop in order to play and execute the process.

How does the Hand Drawn Photoshop Action work? Well, you just have to brush over your photo where you want to apply the effect and play the Action!

The video tutorial covers how to set up your Photoshop file as well as in-depth effect customization techniques. Choose your own photo by getting a similar one shown in the example, and do a test run after or as you watch the demo video. Take note that it’s more important for you to understand the concept and process. If you cannot succeed getting the results the 1st time, go through the video a number of times slowly to see what you have missed or done wrongly.
